Sign A Rama helps create heritage murals for Govt’s new office
CBRE, Canada's Leading Developer and Manager of the Provincial Government Buildings, The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Fizzz Agency and Sign A Rama teamed up to do five floors of heritage vinyl murals in open spaces and hallways for the Ministry’s new offices.
Sign A Rama Toronto under the supervision of Assistant General Manager Kara Studley headed this creative collaborative effort with a team of designers and sign professionals.
Sign A Rama was awarded the project based on being a supportive partner and company of record to the Provincial Government and being an approved vendor to CBRE.
The project required a technical assessment of what could be produced and installed, creative approval from the original artist, and the Ministry’s final sign-off by a team headed by Michael Flockhart.
The project consisted of reproducing Canadian Heritage designs in vinyl that would connect all departments along long hallways and corridors to add creative imagery on each floor.
Sign A Rama also produced over one hundred large format plakit boards that were installed onto the walls of the ministries boardrooms. These images were added to create warmth and continuity between the hallways and other floors
