<h2 style="text-align:justify;">The Opportunity</h2>&nbsp;When marketers at Cacao 70 entered the Ontario market they chose Sign A Rama to design and produce their restaurant signage. They felt our successful history with restaurateurs would help them position themselves where they wanted to be with confidence and creativity.&nbsp;<h2 style="text-align:justify;">The Challenge</h2>&nbsp;The challenge was to produce creative signage in the historic Distillery District where the Heritage Board has a crucial say in how the signs should&nbsp;look&nbsp;and still make them commercially effective for the brand and the restaurant.&nbsp;<h2 style="text-align:justify;">Sign A Rama’s Solution</h2>&nbsp;We presented several sketches that were narrowed down to a few. Finally, the one that was accepted is shown below &nbsp;<figure class="image"><img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/signaramatoronto/image/upload/v1664722888/BLOGSIMAGES/cacao-70-blueprint-1024x642-min1664722885657.jpg"></figure>&nbsp;Once the design was accepted, it still had to pass the signage permit criteria at the City of Toronto for a sign permit. Sign A Rama with the Heritage board’s approval was successful in obtaining the sign permit for Cacao70.&nbsp;<h3 style="text-align:justify;"><a href="https://signarama-toronto.ca/blog/sign-permits-do-you-really-need-them-absolutely/">Related- Sign Permits- Do you really need them? Absolutely!</a></h3>&nbsp;To add some further complications the City of Toronto asked for an engineered stamp to ensure that the sign would not fail or fall off the building, considering it was hanging from railings. Nomé Izakaya, one of Toronto’s best Japanese Tapas restaurants and Lounges, opens its second prestigious location in the Don Mills center. Aritzia presented us with a big challenge when their marketing team wanted their flagship store banner to be illuminated with their brand name and schematics of their store layouts to light up right on the banner for Blanche Nuit.&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/signaramatoronto/image/upload/v1678032667/BLOGSIMAGES/_DSC15461678032665918.jpg"></figure>As they were renovating and closing the store for a few months, they really wanted to make a grandiose statement right on Bloor Street by hoarding up their flagship store with a stretched vinyl banner with these illuminated schematic graphics.
