Sign a Rama helped with the grand opening with the installation of this custom signage display. A custom wood sign was a part of the installation onto a large shipping crate for LUMINATO Toronto. Luminato is one of the preeminent arts festivals in North America, having commissioned close to 100 new works of art, with more than 3,000 performances featuring 11,000 artists from over 40 countries.
This year it is taking place at the Hearn Generating Station, which is one of the most unique industrial landmarks in the world. It is three times larger than the Statue of Liberty, fits in it upright (or on its side), and it sits proudly on Toronto’s waterfront. Its smokestack is one of the only structures in Toronto (apart from the CN Tower) you can see distinctly from across the lake on a good day.
